MJT Mini Tour Beginner’s Classic in Delta sees young golfers try out competition; Zhou and Du win low overall titles

Lisa Zhou, 12, of Surrey, BC, shot a single round score of 38 to win the MJT Girls 11-12 and low overall girls title.

Tiger Du, 11, of Delta, BC, played in his home town this weekend and claimed the MJT Boys 11-12 title as well as the low overall boys title with a score of 33 for 9 holes.

Chloe Lam, 8, of Vancouver, BC, won the MJT Girls 9-10 division in a tight race for podium positions.

The MJT Boys 9-10 division saw Jayden Yang, 10, of Vancouver, take first place, with a score of 35.

April Zhang, 8, of Surrey, BC, carded a 30 over 9 holes to win the MJT Girls 8U division title over Valerie Zheng of Richmond.

The MJT Boys 8U division ended in a tie for first place which was determined by countback. Sky Zhou, 7, of Surrey, BC came out on top.
