COVID-19 UPDATE

The MJT is currently working alongside it's International event partners to determine if their events will be run as originally scheduled, postponed or canceled.

We will keep everyone informed with regards to the qualification process for each event when it has been confirmed. We appreciate your patience at this time.

MJT MAJOR QUALIFIERS AND INTERNATIONAL EVENTS
(These qualifiers and opportunities are for members only)

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour has a mandate to expose players to top competition for gaining experience and building great playing resumes. Since 1999 we have qualified players for many major national and international junior tournaments and provided financial assistance for expenses.

Since 2006, TuGo, one of Canada's leading providers of travel and health insurance products and services, has been designated the Official International Travel Partner of the MJT. Support includes outfitting junior golfers attending international events through the MJT, and providing optional assistance with travel insurance and travel planning.

IMPORTANT: Due to the nature of international events, amendments may occur and qualifiers may change without notice.

NOTE: TIE BREAKER FORMAT: In the event of a tie for an international exemption, the tie breaker will be a combination of Best 3 MJT Order of Merit Finishes and Scoring Average to determine the recipient.

The MJT International Players Series was introduced in 2015 to offer MJT members the opportunity to qualify and compete at a higher level against provincially and nationally ranked players. These major junior opportunities for MJT members will help get players recognized by college coaches in both the United States and Canada.

The 2020 season offers the following high caliber invitational events for MJT members to test their game at the next level.

  • MJT Spring Invitational presented by Freedom 55 Financial at Galt CC (April 24-26, 2020)
