National and Provincial Rankings

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour has a long history of offering high-level, professional tour-quality events with great exposure for young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships. We have created events that various ranking associations around the world recognize and these provide opportunities for our members who wish to compete at the next level. 

*Please note: rankings are provisional on fulfilling the requirements regarding number of players, number of tournament days, etc.  They may change without notice if requirements are not met.

2026 Golf Canada NextGen Exemptions

The MJT is  pleased to provide 2 direct exemptions (1 boy, 1 girl) for each of the 6 NextGen Championships. For the first time the MJT will award these exemptions to players to compete in the prestigious NextGen Tournaments run by Golf Canada. 

2026 American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) PBE Status 

Players can earn Performance Based Entry (PBE) Stars based on their finishes in state, regional and national level junior tournaments as well as AJGA qualifiers and tournaments. Earning Performance Stars will assist players to gain entry into AJGA Open and Junior All-Star Series tournaments.

Players with the higher number of Performance Stars will have priority over players with fewer Performance Stars.

*NOTE: all events are TBC and are only confirmed once minimums in each division have been achieved and submitted.

The MJT has submitted our events for approval by the AJGA and are waiting to post here.  We will keep updating this list so please continue to check back.

*2026 AJGA PBE Status will combine the Juvenile and Junior Boys divisions and Girls divisions where necessary to meet field size requirements (provided both age divisions play the same tees). Peewee & Bantam Boys  will remain on their own.

2026 Global Junior Golf Rankings

The MJT will once again have all events ranked by the most comprehensive Junior Golf Ranking site in the world. Global Junior Golf Rankings ™ ranks multi-day tournaments by province and states in over 240 countries for players ages 12-18.

2026 Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings

The MJT will once again have all its events ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard. JGS ranks multi-day tournaments all around the world for players ages 12-18. Over 500 coaches are part of their "Coaches Corner", a tool they use to help recruit top junior golfers.

2026 Junior Golf Hub Rankings

The MJT will have all its events ranked by Junior Golf Hub. Junior Golf Hub was founded to help players and parents navigate the journey to college golf while helping coaches find top talent. We know that families feel overwhelmed with the recruiting process.

Golf BC will recognize a select number of MJT events as eligible events to count towards their Provincial Junior Order of Merit. These events are as follows, subject to change without notice

All events on the MJT Saskatchewan's schedule will count towards the 2026 Golf Saskatchewan Junior Order of Merit.

2026 Golf Association of Ontario Ranked events

All MJT events on the MJT Ontario schedule will count towards the 2026 Golf Ontario Junior Order of Merit. The events are subject to change without notice:

• Any multi-round MJT event, in Ontario only
• MJT National Tour Challenge at Sawmill GC presented by Canada Life
• MJT National Championship presented by  adidas Golf
