MJT’s Royal Oaks stop qualifies Junior Boys winner Aucoin for National Team Challenge; Faddoul brothers win MJT Mini Tour titles

Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour held the MJT Atlantic Canada Junior Series and a MJT Mini Tour stop at Royal Oaks Golf & Estates in Moncton, NB, on July 18-19.
Junior Tour Highlights:
- Olivier Aucoin, 19, of Moncton, NB, finished off his MJT career in style, winning his last MJT Tournament with two solid rounds of golf (78-70=148), and taking home both the low overall boy and MJT Junior Boys titles.
- For his win at Royal Oaks, Aucoin will receive an exemption into the MJT National Team Challenge at Royal Niagara Golf Club in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, this September.
- In the MJT Girls 15-19 division, Jadian Eisenhauer, 16, of Moncton, NB, won with rounds of 92-85=177.
- In a stacked MJT Juvenile Boys division, Chase Burgess, 15, of Petitcodiac, NB, came out on top in a tight battle for podium places, securing the win by one stroke (75-76).
- Neve Miller, 14, of Dieppe, NB, took another MJT title in the MJT Girls 15U division, as well as took low overall girl with scores of 86-83.
- Playing consistent rounds for the win in the MJT Bantam Boys division was Tristan Frenette, 14, of Rothesay, NB (74-74)
- MJT Peewee Boys winner, Carter Lavigne, 12, of Moncton, NB, won by nine strokes in his hometown, with rounds of 75-82.

Mini Tour Highlights:
- Joseph Faddoul, 10, of Halifax, NS, played a great round of golf as he finished with an 82 to take home the MJT Boys 9-10 division title. Elijah Faddoul, 8, of Halifax, NS, joined his brother as a winner, taking the title in the MJT Boys 8U division. Five-year-old Ariyah Sock of Elsipogtog First Nation, NB, came into the tournament as one of our youngest golfers on the circuit, and put up a great round. On hole 14, she marked a bogey, her best performance of the day.
