Juniors enjoy top TaylorMade treatment in MJT Team TaylorMade Championship at The Club at Bond Head; Brown aces low overall boys title

Tournament Highlights:
- Juniors on the Maple Leaf Junior Tour were treated to a top golf event in Beeton, ON, on August 6 and 7, where TaylorMade brought out all the stops for the golfers competing in the MJT Team TaylorMade Championship at The Club at Bond Head. This included fabulous TaylorMade tee gifts and prizes, a special Putting Challenge, a tour of the newest TaylorMade Fitting Centre, a lunch and refreshments.
- Winners were crowned in six divisions, and lucky draws out of the Closest-to-the-Pin and Long Drive contest divisional winners handed these two juniors a set of TaylorMade Wedges and the new TaylorMade Stealth Driver respectively. Putting Challenge prizes included TaylorMade Golf balls and wedges.
- An ace on hole five during the final round secured the MJT TaylorMade Juvenile Champion’s title for by Jaiden Brown, 15, of Newcastle, ON, after he fired great rounds of 70-74=144 for his first MJT win of the year. Brown also shot the Low Overall Boys score.
- Low Overall Girl and MJT TaylorMade Girls 15-19 Champion was Ela Jones, 17, of Kincardine, ON, who came away with her first MJT circuit win with rounds of 83-85=168.
- The MJT TaylorMade Junior Boys Champion was Keith Hunter, 18, of New Hamburg, ON, who shot 73-76=149 for a two-stroke victory in his division.
- Spencer Shropshire, 14, of Oro-Medonte, ON, was the MJT TaylorMade Bantam Boys Champion after going low with excellent scores of 70-70=140 for a five-stroke lead over his division’s second place competitor.
- Katherine Hou, 13, of Richmond Hill, ON, won the MJT TaylorMade Girls U15 Champion’s title over Alexa Todd, 14, of Owen Sound, ON, after carding 88-87=175.
- Winners of the regular Long Drive, Closest-to-the-Pin and Booster Juice BounceBack awards are posted on the website.
