Electrifying start by Graf and Savadatti to kick off MJT Alberta Season
Tournament Highlights:
- The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s number one-played junior tour, opens up the MJT Alberta season with the MJT Global Sport Academy Spring Classic, at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort, in Lethbridge, Alberta.
- Six earn shortlisted positions for the IMG Junior Worlds Golf Championships July 2022, in San Diego, California, and six qualify for the FCG Callaway World Championship July 2022, in Palm Springs, California.
- Jayden Arnold shoots -4 in the Peewee boys division to secure the MJT Peewee Boys title.
- Bennet Love aces hole 14 during his first round, for the second time on this hole in two years during a MJT Tournament.
- Charlie Gillespie takes first in the Juvenile Boys division, carding one under par after two rounds.
- There is a tight race in the Junior boy division, with Logan Graf carding -4 in his last round to win by one shot, claiming the Junior Boys and Low Overall Boys titles.
- Eileen Park in the MJT Girls U15 division continues dominance, with wire to wire win, bests her closest competitor by 12 shots.
- 15-year old Aastha Savadatti of Calgary, AB, continues her fine play on the MJT with another victory in the Girls 15-19 Division claiming Overall Champion honours.
