DiMarcantonio and Shea win MJT Spring Invitational presented by Freedom 55 Financial

Cambridge, ON – (May 1, 2017) – Freedom 55 Financial generously supported another major junior golf tournament this past weekend, presenting the MJT Spring Invitational at Whistle Bear Golf Club in Cambridge – a three-day season opener for the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour in Ontario which has a number of rankings from organizations such as Golf Canada and the Golf Association of Ontario (GAO).

An elite field of junior golfers braved freezing cold, wet and windy weather over 54 holes, competing for division titles and major order of merit as well as the chance for a direct exemption into the MJT Boston Pizza National Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas at Reunion Resort in Florida this November. Despite the conditions, a Hole in One was recorded by Kristen Giles of Georgetown, ON, who used a pitching wedge on the fifth hole on Sunday for the ace, winning her a special Miura Gift Certificate.
