Horton Ties Competitive Course Record en Route to MJT Victory

DeWinton, AB (June 5, 2017) – Over 80 Juniors were competing in seven age divisions on Canada’s number one played Junior Golf Tour at the prestigious Cottonwood Golf and Country Club in Calgary, Alberta, this past weekend, where 18-year old Chris Horton shot a 64 in round two and in the process tied the competitive course record at the Club.

In addition to this major achievement by Horton, overall event highlights are posted on the MJT website HERE showing winners of the Miura ‘Respect the Game’ Award, PLYR Long Drive, PLYR Closest-to-the-Pin and Golf Town Performance Awards. The event also served as a Qualifier for the Nordic Junior Team Matches in Finland this Fall.
