Maple Leaf Tour Qualifies Young Golfers for Junior World Championships

RICHMOND, B.C. ? Over 90 competitive junior golfers were on hand to showcase their talents despite less than ideal weather conditions this past weekend at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) stop at Mayfair Lakes Golf Course in Richmond, BC.

The two-day tournament was also a qualifier for 13 and 14 year olds on the nationwide junior tour for the 38th annual Callaway Golf Junior World Championships in San Diego, California, July 12-15, 2005.

Exemptions were won by Sue Kim, 14, from Langley and Jonnie Motomochi, 14, from White Rock.
