Rising Canadian golf talent recognized by MJT's 2025 Player of the Year and Order of Merit Awards
Vancouver, BC - (October 16, 2025) – The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s number-one played junior golf tour, is proud to announce the 2025 major award winners of the prestigious MJT Players of the Year and MJT Orders of Merit powered by Popeye’s Supplements.
2025 MJT Players of the Year
The 2025 MJT National Players of the Year were determined based on players’ season-long scoring averages in their respective divisions over a minimum number of official MJT rounds. The below six exceptional young golfers demonstrated outstanding skill and consistency throughout the season, earning them a custom-engraved Popeye’s Supplements trophy and a complimentary 2026 MJT Membership:

Honouring Achievement Across Canada
Each of the MJT Junior and Mini Tour Order of Merit champions across the country is awarded a personalized plaque to commemorate their outstanding achievement this season.

About Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT)
The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour is Canada’s number one Junior Golf Tour as well as the only national junior tour run exclusively by PGA of Canada Professionals and the ‘Road to College Golf’ in Canada. The organization is supported by valued Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Partners. The MJT hosts over 100 events across Canada, including free Ford Go Golf Junior Clinics, the MJT Mini Tour for 12U, and multi-day events for competitive players aged 11-19 which also offer qualifiers for international tournaments. The program has annual awards, scholarships and incentives to help reward performance and participation throughout each season. MJT alumni include many Professional Tour players and PGA of Canada Professionals, as well as Canadian Amateur, National and Provincial Junior Champions.
