MJT announces 2024 major award winners of Players of the Year and Orders of Merit powered by Popeye’s Supplements

 
Vancouver, BC – (October 15, 2024) – The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s leading junior golf tour, is proud to announce the 2024 major award winners, including the prestigious MJT Players of the Year and the MJT Order of Merit champions powered by Popeye’s Supplements.
 
For the national 2024 Players of the Year, the top junior golfers in the country were determined based on their scoring averages over a required minimum number of tournament rounds. The winners in each of the six age divisions, who are awarded a custom-engraved Crystal Cup and a complimentary 2024 MJT Membership, are as follows:
 
MJT Junior Boys Player of the Year: Josiah Tong (Heritage Pointe, AB)
MJT Juvenile Boys Player of the Year: Spencer Shropshire (Ramara, ON)
MJT Bantam Boys Player of the Year: Tiger Xie (Surrey, BC)
MJT Peewee Boys Player of the Year: Jackson Wang (Surrey, BC)
MJT Girls 15-19 Player of the Year: Nobelle Park (Oakville, ON)
MJT Girls U15 Player of the Year: Kaprice Park (Oakville, ON)
 
The winners in each province/region of the 2024 MJT Junior Tour Order of Merit powered by Popeye’s Supplements have also been determined, based on cumulative ranking point totals in their respective age divisions of Boys 17-19 (Junior), Boys 15-16 (Juvenile), Boys 13-14 (Bantam), Boys 12U (Peewee), Girls 15-19 and Girls U15. The winners, in this respective age division order, are as follows:

The above 72 winners of the MJT Junior and Mini Tour Orders of Merit across the country are each honoured with a personalized plaque.
