MJT Announces IMG Junior World Championship Qualifiers
MJT – IMG Academy Junior World Championship Exemptions
Canada’s number one-played Junior Tour, the non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), is pleased to announce the 2023 IMG Academy Junior World Championship exemptions from across the country.
The qualified players will travel to San Diego, California, for this one-of-a-kind event, which has grown to 1250 participants, representing 56 countries and 42 states. The IMG Academy Junior World Golf Championship is currently the largest event in the world, unique for its international representation and cultural diversity. See more here…
The MJT ran 6 qualifying locations across Canada to determine the low qualifiers. All scores were compared to the rating of the golf course to determine the scoring differential, with the low differential receiving the coveted spots into this year’s event.
2023 IMG Junior World Championship Exemptions:
The MJT thanks all that came out to qualify for this special event and wishes that more spots were allocated in line with the participation and field sizes on Canada’s most-played Junior Tour.
