Over $20,000 allocated to 2019 MJT Award Winners
September 25, 2019 - (Vancouver, BC) – The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada's number one-played junior golf tour, has once again allocated over $20,000 in funding for the Players of the Year and cumulative Order of Merit point winners in each age division in every region across the country, to help with costs of participating in the season-ending MJT Boston Pizza National Championship presented by TaylorMade and adidas Golf at The Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, November 7 to 10, 2019.
The 2019 MJT National Players of the Year, based on scoring average in a required minimum number of tournament rounds, are Luna Lu for Girls U15, Erin Lee for Girls 15-18, Ryan Liang for Peewee Boys, Ryan Vest for Bantam Boys, Cooper Humphreys for Juvenile Boys, Ilirian Zalli for Junior Boys, and Dakota Smith for Collegiate.
The 2019 MJT Order of Merit winners based on cumulative point totals in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Atlantic Canada are as follows:
British Columbia: Annalise Stolzenberg (Langley), Erin Lee (Langley), Emil Liddell (Vancouver), Tristan Jackman (Surrey), Danny Im (Langley), Riley Geiger (Langley) and Ryan Austin (Surrey)
