Royal Niagara set to host 5th annual MJT National Team Challenge presented by Freedom 55 Financial
Niagara on the Lake, ON – (September 17, 2019) – The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour is proud to announce the golfers who will be competing at the 5th annual MJT National Team Challenge presented by Freedom 55 Financial at Royal Niagara Golf Club in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON from September 20-22.
The National Team Challenge consists of 15 teams totaling 90 competitors participating in both a team competition format and 54-hole individual medal stroke play. Each team consists of six players: two junior girls and four junior boys; daily team scores will be calculated using the best four of six.
The MJT is sending three regional teams to Ontario to compete in the tournament: Team West, Team Central and Team East. Teams from Mexico, Australia, and the United States are also taking part in this unique event. The remainder of the field is comprised of invited teams from golf academies across Canada.
Tee times are now posted on the Tournament Information Page here. Crossover tee times begin on Friday, September 20th at 10:00am, with round two starting at 8:00am and round three at 7:00am, spectators are always welcome.
