Final stretch of MJT’s 2019 Ontario summer circuit features top venues

Hornby, ON – (July 17, 2019) – The Boston Pizza presented Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour swings into the final stretch of the MJT 2019 Ontario summer circuit with two more events in the month of July and three in August, offering young golfers ages 11 through 23 some top-level competition as well as the remaining opportunities to qualify for a season-ending MJT Boston Pizza National Championship presented by TaylorMade and adidas Golf at Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, FL, in November.

First up, on July 22 and 23, the Junior Tour rolls into Hornby, ON, for the MJT Ontario GTA College Preview presented by Humber College PGM at Piper’s Heath Golf Club.  Just four days later, Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour moves two hours southwest to Carlisle, ON, for the MJT Big Max Series at Carlisle Golf and Country Club.

Entry fees for both tournaments include 36 holes of competition in seven age divisions, spectacular prizes, and refreshments, as well as the bonus chance to qualify for MJT Team Ontario in the unique MJT National Team Challenge presented by Freedom 55 Financial at Royal Niagara Golf Club from September 20-22.

In August, the MJT stops at three other premier Ontario locations: Copetown Woods Golf Club in Copetown (August 10-11), St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club in Aurora (August 17-18), and Grey Silo Golf Club in Waterloo (August 24-25).  Registration for all events is on the website.

The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour encourages young golfers to play in professionally-run tournaments with the objective of improving skills through competition. More details can be found at www.maplejt.com.
