The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s flagship MJT Boston Pizza National Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf is just two weeks away at The Reunion Resort in Kissimmee, FLA, from November 6th to 8th. Six divisional National Champions will be crowned at the event out of the 78 qualified players from across Canada who competed all season long to secure their invitation, from Vancouver, BC, to Moncton, NB, and everywhere in between.
The 2015 MJT Boston Pizza National Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf features many provincial standouts, several of whom will be vying for college golf scholarships. Over the past three years the MJT has had many college coaches attending the National Championship looking to fill their current and future rosters and this year is no exception. The MJT's focus has changed over the past few seasons to helping players achieve their post-secondary dreams via being 'The Road to College Golf in Canada.' Head Golf Coaches Jake Harrington (University of Arkansas - Little Rock) and Walt Williams (LeTorneau University) will give a talk on college recruiting from a coaches perspective while Jennifer Hause, Director and Founder of Recruityourself2college.com, will speak on the program's success in helping MJT players from across Canada play post-secondary golf under scholarship.
The tournament is shaping up to be the best to date. For more information including the field and tee times for the MJT Boston Pizza National Championship presented by TaylorMade-adidas Golf, please go to the tournament page on the MJT website.
