Playoff determines Overall Champion at MJT Prodigy Series at Carnmoney GC
A playoff was needed to determine the Overall Champion in the MJT Prodigy Series at Carnmoney GC which wrapped up on Wednesday, July 17th. Derek Roach of Calgary (79-73-76=228) made a par on the first playoff hole to defeat Scott McNichol (78-72-78=228) for low overall and win the Junior Division title (Boys 17-19). Chris Horton of Calgary was the Bantam Division winner (Boys 14 & Under), shooting consistent rounds of 71-74-73=218, while also carding a hole-in-one on hole #6 of the second round. In the Girls Division, Kat Kennedy of Okotoks played solid golf, carding 78-76-77=231 to claim the gold medal while Brendan MacDougall of Calgary (78-79-78=235) won the Juvenile Division (Boys 15-16) with his solid play.
