Ranton rolls to victory at International Junior Masters
MJT member Trevor Ranton, of Waterloo, ON, qualified via the MJT and then captured the oldest and one of the most storied junior events in North America, the East Aurora International Junior Masters this past week. Ranton snuck into the match play portion of the championship flight by shooting 77-77 and winning a 5 player for 3 spot playoff but once into the match play, he knocked off the top seed and never looked back. Ranton qualified by winning at the MJT Nationwide Series at Rebel Creek GC in Petersburg, ON, this May, and receives funding to go from the MJT and Official International Events Sponsor Travel Underwriters.
