VINGA QUALIFIES FOR CALLAWAY JUNIOR WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Five players from across the country were short listed for the MJT's 2011 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship but it was Kevin Vigna, 15, of Coquitlam, BC, that will be attending the event this July. Kevin finished at 68-70 =138 (-6) at Morgan Creek GC in Surrey, BC and receives the exemption into the 2011 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship, a MJT Team Canada Uniform and Golf Bag provided by the Brandt Levers Family in memory of their late son Brandt, who played on the MJT for years and competed in the Callaway World Junior Championship himself, together with $1,000.00 provided by the MJT through its fundraising efforts, along with the Official International Events Sponsor Travel Underwriters.The other shortlisted players were:
