SCOBIE SOARS AT OSPREY VALLEY ON MJT
Brighton, ON - (August 24, 2010) - The Hoot Course of picturesque Osprey Valley Golf Club in Alton played host over August 21-23 to the MJT, where players competed over 54 holes for division titles in the MJT Ontario Tour Championship. Matthew Scobie, 15, of Ajax, continued his dominant play on the MJT and fired rounds of 74-72-75 (221) to finish eight strokes ahead of his age group competitors in Boys 14-16, and four strokes ahead of the entire field. The other division winners were Craig Stefureak of Caledonia (74-77-80) in Boys 13 & under, Brian Jurkiewicz of Hamburg, NY (71-72-82) in Boys 17-19 and Rachel Pollock of Guelph (77-76-82) in the Girls Division.
