JONES TOPS MJT LEADERBOARD AT TIMBER RIDGE
Brighton, ON - (August 16, 2010) - Timber Ridge Golf Club in Brighton played host to the MJT over the August 14-15 weekend, where Keaton Jones, 15, of Kitchener and Whistle Bear Golf Club, topped the leaderboard and qualified for a paid entry into a FCWT event of his choice in the USA. Jones, who cited numerous clutch putts and seeing his name on the top of the leaderboard as his tournament highlights, fired 76-73 to win his first MJT title by five strokes. The other division winners were Joey Hetherman of Burlington (77-77) in Boys 13 & under, Brett Kennedy of Kitchener(79-74) and Kirsten Degutis of Waterloo (88-83) in Girls.
