EMERY LOW OVERALL AT CALEDON; RICHARD-MONRO TAKES FCWT SPOT
Caledon, ON - (August 9, 2010) - The MJT visited Caledon GC in Caledon for the very first time in its 12 year history on the August 7th and 8th weekend, where Sterling Emery took low overall honours and Joshua Richard-Monro was the eligible qualifier for a paid entry into a Future Collegiate World Tour (FCWT) event of his choice in the USA. Emery, 19, of Orangeville, closed with a final round of 72 in the Boys 17-19 division to beat runner-up Richard-Monro, 17, of Oakville, by five shots with his 150 total score. The other division winners were Craig Stefureak of Caledonia (75-80) in Boys 13 & under, Brett Geiser of Markham (79-78) in Boys 14-16, and Kirsten Degutis of Waterloo (81-79) in Girls.
