MJT 'POSTER BOY' FOR 2007 WINS BEN HOGAN AWARD
MJT alumnus Nick Taylor, who featured on the 2007 MJT national poster, won the prestigious Ben Hogan Award - collegiate golf's version of the Heisman Trophy - in a ceremony last week at historic Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. The University of Washington senior beat out fellow Hogan Award finalists Bud Cauley of the University of Alabama and Russell Henley of the University of Georgia. The Ben Hogan Award is presented annually to the top men's NCAA Division I, II or III, NAIA or NJCAA college golfer considering all collegiate and amateur competitions during the past 12-month period. Taylor was the world's top-ranked amateur for most of last year. Congratulations to Nick!
