FLEMING FIRST-RATE AT MJT'S BRANDT LEVERS MEMORIAL
Lacombe, AB - (May 24, 2010) - The weather seemed to be the story at the Golf Canada-ranked Brandt Levers Memorial on the MJT at Lacombe GC in Alberta over the May long weekend, as winds gusted to 60km per hour, and the temperature never got to double digits until Sunday afternoon. Riley Fleming, 16, of Airdrie, shot great rounds of 67-74 (141) to win the overall title and the Boys 14-16 gold medal by an incredible 12 shots. Scott Malo of Calgary (73-70) claimed the Boys 17-19 Division with the low score on the second day. Becky Martin of Medicine Hat continued her fine play (81-72) to win the Girls Division and Jason Martens of Edmonton (72-81) won his third Boys 13 & under title this season. Connor Grimes of Edmonton stole the show on the first day carding a hole in one on the Sundog KP hole - #6!
