PENNER WINS EAIJM SPOT, COWAN $500 SCHOLARSHIP, AT LETHBRIDGE COLLEGE CLASSIC presented by 1ST CHOICE SAVINGS
Lethbridge, AB - (May 3, 2010) - Full results are now posted for the MJT Lethbridge College Classic presented by 1st Choice Savings at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort in Lethbridge, Alberta, May 1-2. Mack Penner of Lethbridge (72-74) won low overall and the Boys 14-16 title, qualifying for the 58th East Aurora International Junior Masters; Evan Cowan of Coaldale (74-74) won the Boys 17-19 division and a $500 Scholarship to attend Lethbridge College; Jason Martens of Edmonton (77-77) has now won back-to-back events in the Boys 13 & under division, and Mieke Heyns of Lethbridge (80-80) won the Girls Division. Playing alongside the juniors were competitors from five Universities and Colleges; the men's winner was Jace Barros (70-70) of Grant MacEwan University and the women's winner was Ashley Nantes (91-83) of the University of Calgary - both former MJT players now playing for their respective Universities.
