Tempe, AZ - The MJT Team Canada Team (-5) consisting of Sterling Emery (Orangeville, ON), Scott Mazur (Winnipeg, MB) and Sanggyun Lee (Calgary) defeated Team USA (E) and Brent Morrison Golf Academy (-4) to win the ASU 3 Team Challenge at the FCWT ASU Challenge event at Karsten Golf Club in beautiful Tempe, Arizona. The event, which ran December 12-13, 2009 was part of the Future Collegiate World Tour. The event had an individual component and a 3 team Challenge component as well, with all three players placing in the top 30 for the event. Emery topped the list with a T12 placing, Lee finished T23 and Mazur finished T29 on the very difficult Karsten ASU Golf Club. According to one player, "the greens were very fast and tricky, with lots of subtle breaks. The fairways were rolling, and it was rare to get a flat lie, even in the middle of the fairway. Playing at ASU Karsten, the home of Phil Michelson, and in the backdrop of SunDevil Stadium, was a great experience!"
