MURPHY MANAGES THE WIND AT MJT'S 1ST CHOICE SAVINGS STOP
 | Picture Butte, AB - (August 26, 2009) - The weather for the past two days of the 1st Choice Savings Series at Picture Butte Golf Club could not have been any different - great on day one and terribly windy on day two. In the boys 13 and under division, Patrick Murphy, 12, of Crossfield, played exceptionally well and proved once again that he is the force in his age group at the MJT, firing 70-71 (141) to win by a mile. In the boys 17-19 division, Ryan Werre, 17, of Redcliff, continued to beat the field as he fired even par 144 (71-73) for victory. Nick Scrymgeour, 14, of Calgary, won in boys 14-16 with scores of 78-74, while local Kristen Jensen captured her 4th title in the girls division (76-81). Click on the links for full details.
