RIZZETTO REIGNS IN THE RAIN AT PARIS GRAND
 | PARIS, ON. - (July 27, 2009) -On the same weekend as the Canadian Open, junior golfers competed in the MJT Quagmire Golf Classic at Paris Grand Golf Club in Paris, and endured the same wet conditions as the professionals, battling weather both days to get 27 holes completed after severe thunderstorms left the course unplayable on Sunday. Despite the rain, Mike Rizzetto, 18, of Brantford, reigned supreme over the competition, shooting 74-36 (110) for the shortened tournament to win the Boys 17-19 Quagmire Golf Classic title and an exemption into a FCWT event of his choice in the USA. The other division winners were Luca Trisi (74-42) in Boys 14-16, Matt LeMay (72-37) in Boys 13 & under, and Kirsten Degutis (92-43) in the Girls division. Click on links below for more details.
