THROUGH GUSTS AND GUTS HEMMERICH CLAIMS MJT'S ONTARIO OPENER
Ancaster, ON (May 11, 2009)-Chris Hemmerich, 16, of Kitchener, topped the leaderboard at Ontario's season opener at Mystic Golf Club, muscling through the tough weather with 78-81 for a two day total of 159. Hemmerich claimed the Boys 14-16 division title, low overall score and a spot to the International Junior Masters after hitting fairways and greens with accuracy, later citing that as key to his success.
Brendan Seys (88-85) won the 13 and under division, Spencer Buck (84-77) was victorious among Boys 17-19, and Kirsten Degutis (110-104) won the Girls Division. Click on the links below for more details.
