HELGESON AND MINION JOIN MJT TEAM CANADA AT SOUTH INTERLAKE QUALIFIER

WARREN, MB: The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour's double qualifier on Father's Day weekend at the South Interlake Golf and Country Club in Warren, MB, proved to be another weekend of outstanding golf in decent weather conditions with players vying for spots on MJT Team Canada to both the Scotland Kingdom of Fife Matches in St. Andrews, U.K. and to the International Junior Golf Invitational (IJGI) in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

Brock Helgeson, 17 of Balmertown, ON, came out to win this tournament showing tremendous focus throughout both days. Helgeson finished day one with a leading score of 76 thanks to a 30 foot putt on hole 16 for eagle, and then blew away the competition on day two with a "take no prisoners"
