WEATHER FORECAST FORCES CANCELLATION OF LAND-O-LAKES TOURNAMENT
Alberta junior golfers will have to wait one more weekend before the MJT's 10th anniversary season tees off. With below zero temperatures and snow forecasted for this weekend in Southern Alberta - combined with a large number of out-of-town players who drive considerable distances to compete - the Tour has consulted with Land-O-Lakes Golf Club and mutually agreed that the MJT 1st Choice Savings Series on April 19-20 will be rescheduled to a later date, which will be announced on the website when available.As a result, the season opener will be the popular MJT 1st Choice Savings Series at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort on April 26-27. A full field of 104 players are confirmed for this designated Alberta Golf trial tournament for the selection of the Alberta Team for the 2009 Canada Summer Games! The second stop in Alberta this season will now be the MJT Alberta Series at Stony Plain GC on May 10-11. Secure your spot now in this double qualifier for MJT Team Canada with spots to be awarded to the International Junior Golf Invitational in Mexico and the CKG Tour World Championship in South Carolina, USA.
