Thompson Fires Six-Under Par for MJT Victory

SASKATOON, SK - The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) opened its 2007 Saskatchewan season at Moon Lake Golf Club in Saskatoon on May 5th and 6th, with a triple qualifier for three major international events. Players from British Columbia, Alberta and all over Saskatchewan competed for spots on MJT Team Canada to the Scotland Kingdom of Fife Junior Team Matches in the U.K., and on MJT Team Canada to the International Junior Golf Invitational (IJGI) in Cuernavaca, Mexico, as well as in the World Youth Team Challenge at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Illinois, USA.
