PETERSBURG, ON - The Ontario season-opener on the Boston Pizza-presented Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) was a double qualifier for two major international events held at Rebel Creek Golf Club in Petersburg on May 5th and 6th. Exemptions to be won were in the 55th annual East Aurora International Junior Masters (EAIJM) in East Aurora, New York, and the World Youth Team Challenge at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Illinois, USA.

Brent McKenzie, a three-year veteran on the MJT, fired rounds of 79-71 (150) to win the Boys 14-16 division as well as low overall score and the EAIJM exemption.
