Brother-Sister Duo Win Divisions at MJT Task Tools Classic

PITT MEADOWS, B.C. - The brother-sister duo of Andy and Jennifer Yang from Coquitlam pleased their parents no end by winning both their respective age divisions in the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour's MJT Task Tools Classic at Swan-e-set Bay Resort in Pitt Meadows last weekend. The siblings won the Boys 13 and under and Girls division titles respectively, with 12-year-old Jennifer also claiming the low overall tournament score in the 84-player strong field.

Jennifer Yang, who started out on the MJT at age 11 shooting in the 90's, finally broke 80 for the first time this season with a 79 at an event back in April. This past weekend at the Task Tools Classic she posted her best tournament scores to date by firing an outstanding pair of 72's for a 144 total score, running away with the Girls division title. ""
