The Maple Leaf Team of 8 boys, selected from qualifiers throughout Canada, will be captained by MJT Tournament Director Dean Spriddle, CPGA Teacher of the Year 2002/3 and Coach of the Canadian National Ladies Team, which placed 2nd in the World Championships in 2004. CANADIAN CHAMPIONS Two veteran members of the MJT capped off the 2004 season with huge national wins: Inah Park (Burnaby, BC) was crowned Canadian Junior Girls Champion while Darren Wallace (Langley, BC) captured the Canadian Men?s Amateur title.

MAJORITY OF ?TOP 10? HAVE PLAYED MJT Seven out of the top 10 nationally-ranked juniors on the RCGA Future Links Junior Order of Merit have played on the MJT. The three junior golfers who have not played MJT are in provinces where the Tour has not yet hosted tournaments (QC and NB)!

He has played over 35 events on the MJT, and from an early age he got to compete against a consistently high caliber of players on the MJT ? without this he wouldn?t have had any chance to get to the level to be able to win the Canadian Men?s Amateur Championship last year.?
