Dear Mr. Bieber (of MJT Tournament Partner Bieber Securities) My wife Carol and I would like to thank you for your sponsoring last year's Maple Leaf Junior Tour tournament at the Transcona Golf Club. As a result of our son's victory (in an extra hole), he was awarded a spot in the Chinese National Junior Golf Championship in Huangshan China. This is the second year that the MJT has sent 6 junior golfers from across Canada to this championship and they did a superb job. The boys departed from Vancouver on January 19th and returned 10 days later. One of our group even won his age division! Memories of the time that they spent in Shanghai and then Huangshan will always remain with them; such a valuable life experience. Also resulting from the Transcona tournament, was our son's overall first place standing in MJT's Manitoba rankings. Each summer the MJT organizes several tournaments in each province and awards points for each golfer's participation and standing, with the top four in each province receiving invitations to the MJT's national tournament at Nicklaus North in Whistler BC. I accompanied our son to this tournament at the end of August and witnessed first hand the professionalism with which the MJT operates. Once again, thank you for helping to make it happen. " |
