6 division winners rewarded with Maui Jim eyewear at windy MJT Atlantic opener in Chester
The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s #1-played junior golf tour, teed off its Atlantic Canada Junior Tour season at Chester Golf Club in Chester, NS, on May 9–10, with a combined field of 80 players across both Junior and Mini Tour events. The 19U Junior Tour competed in the MJT Maui Jim Series over both days, while the 12U Mini Tour played on May 9, making a strong opening weekend as athletes battled cold and windy conditions.
With custom crystal trophies and Maui Jim sunglasses on the line in the MJT Maui Jim Series, which features six National events on the MJT during the 2026 season, the tone was set for a competitive event. Players were also competing for valuable qualifying spots into premier events such as the East Coast Junior Championship and the Uswing Mojing Junior World Golf Championship.
