Talented 12U winners all shoot in the 60’s in 80-player MJT Mini Tour field at Musqueam

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s number one-played junior golf tour, hosted a waitlisted field of 80 talented young golfers aged 12 and under at the MJT Mini Tour at Musqueam Golf Course in Vancouver, BC, on June 7. Under beautiful sunny skies, players competed for titles in six age divisions as well as the chance to qualify for the MJT Mini Tour National Championship later this season.

Nestled along the Fraser River, Musqueam Golf Course provided a scenic yet challenging layout that rewarded precision and short-game control, the perfect stage for rising junior stars to showcase their skills.

Consistent play and clutch scoring across the board led to division wins for David Chaofan Wu, 11, of Richmond, BC, in MJT Boys 11-12 (66), Chloe Lam, 11, of Vancouver, BC, in MJT Girls 11-12 (67), Benjamin Qin, 10, of Vancouver, BC, in MJT Boys 9-10 (70), Elizabeth Yang, 9, of Vancouver, BC, in MJT Girls 9-10 (68), Sawyer Morrow, 6, from Vancouver, BC, in MJT Boys 8U (66), Yoyo Zhang, 8, from Richmond, BC, in MJT Girls 8U (63).
