Rogalczyk, Desmarais and Wagner win premier MJT Alberta Invitational at Stewart Creek
The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s leading competitive junior golf circuit, qualified a set field of 72 top-ranked young athletes for the prestigious MJT Alberta Invitational at Stewart Creek Golf and Country Club in Canmore, AB, on June 8, 2025. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this special tournament marked the facility’s 25th anniversary and welcomed an exclusive, invite-only field of players in three divisions: MJT Junior Boys, MJT Juvenile Boys, and MJT Girls 15-19.
Selections were based on the 2024 MJT Alberta Order of Merit standings and top performers from the first three 2025 Alberta events, creating a highly competitive field worthy of one of the province’s premier courses.
The day delivered more than just championship-level golf, as highlights included a special Skills Contest sponsored by Bronze Sponsor, Tanya Rogalczyk Simply Mortgages, with Closest-to-the-Pin prizes to be won as well as a $10,000 RESP for a hole-in-one, adding to the high-stakes excitement at this wonderful showcase of Alberta’s best junior talent. Players were treated to a first-class guest experience by Stewart Creek, with premium tee gifting and a spectacular full-course dinner following the round.
Crowned as division champions were Brae Rogalczyk, 17, of Innisfail, AB, in MJT Junior Boys (70), Hayden Desmarais, 19, of Edmonton, AB, in MJT Girls 15-19 (78), and Brady Wagner, 16, of Sherwood Park, AB, in MJT Juvenile Boys (69).
