57th playing of MJT’s historic Harry White Little Masters at Kings Links cements legacy

 

Golf history in the province of British Columbia continued to be made on Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour with the hosting of the 57th annual MJT Harry White Little Masters at Kings Links by the Sea in Delta, BC, on July 10 and 11.  Run by the non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, a packed field of young golfers ages seven through 12 competed in the two-day tournament founded by the late Harry White, a pioneer in junior golf development in British Columbia and mentor to countless young athletes looking to play golf competitively. Players were treated to the championship venue of Kings Links, fantastic tee gifts and prizes from TaylorMade, adidas Golf and Booster Juice, with custom Hoselton trophies for the six division champions handed out by Brad Newell, Kings Links owner and great friend of the late Harry White.
 

Top finisher scores and quotes from division winners are noted below, while full results, Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, and Booster Juice BounceBack award winners are posted on the MJT website here. Low overall honours for Boys and Girls respectively went to Brayden Ko, 12, of Richmond, BC, and Satnam Gill, 12, of Surrey, BC.  Division winners each qualified for the prestigious season-ending MJT Mini Tour National Championship in Tsawwassen, BC, this August, with the spot defaulting to the next highest-ranked player, should the winner already be exempt.
