MJT National Championship presented by TaylorMade & adidas Golf at The Wigwam Golf Resort (The Gold Course)
Litchfield Park, Arizona (USA)
The Gold Course at Wigwam Golf Resort
Famed golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed the Gold Course to be the West Coast rival of Firestone South. Rival or peer, the two courses share many traits in common – both courses measure more than 7,300+ yards from the tips, both include a series of long par-4’s and epic par-5’s, both feature small, elevated greens and both courses have been recognized among Jones Sr.’s finest designs. For over 50 years, the Gold Course has been recognized as one of Arizona’s most challenging and respected golf courses and host of the 2023 PGATOUR Canada’s Spring Q-School. Nicknamed “Arizona’s Monster,” the Gold Course has hosted many signature tournaments over the years, including numerous U.S. Open Qualifiers, U.S. Amateur Qualifiers, several NCAA Regional Championships and the annual Patriot All-America Invitational – one of the top amateur competitions in the world. The 7,345 yard, par 72 course has also received various industry awards and accolades since opening in 1965, including being named one of the “Top 100 Golf Courses in America.”
