Final stop of inaugural MJT Mini Tour in Atlantic Canada plays out at Kingswood Resort

• Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour stopped in Fredericton, NB, this week, hosting both a Junior and Mini Tour event at Kingswood Resort. The MJT Mini Tour was held on the Kingswood Executive course and was the final stop in 2022 for the inaugural 12U tour in the region.
• Isaac Belliveau, 9, of Dieppe, NB, came out on top in the MJT Boys 9-10 division, finishing with a score of 93 for the win. This was Belliveau’s second podium finish of the year on the MJT circuit.  Close behind Belliveau was runner-up Sae Chan, 9, of Cocagne, NB, who finished just four strokes behind first place. Pax LeBlanc, 9, of Grand-Barachois, NB, finished third with a score of 105.
• Xavier Wheaton, 8, of Memramcook, NB, played a solid round in MJT Boys 8U, carding a final scorecard of 83. Wheaton has made podium appearances in every Atlantic Canada MJT Mini Tour stop this season.  
• In the MJT Girls 8U division, Ariyah Sock, 6, of Elsipogtog First Nation, BC, made her second appearance on the Tour and shot a round of 108.
• The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour hopes that by expanding the Mini Tour to Atlantic Canada there will be a corresponding growth in golf development in the region, as witnessed in other provinces. Members are encouraged to invite their friends to join them on the program.
