Calgary juniors dominate final MJT Mini Tour stop prior to Nationals in BC

Tournament Highlights:
- Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour stopped in Calgary, AB, for the MJT Mini Tour at Golfuture YYC , on August 3, which was the final opportunity for 12U golfers to qualify for the MJT Mini Tour National Championship coming up later this month in British Columbia.
- Benson White, 12, of Calgary, AB, took top spot on the MJT Boys 11-12 podium, finishing one-over-par with a round score of 55.
- In the MJT Girls 11-12 division, Hannah Thomas, 11, of Calgary, shot 58 to win the title by eight strokes.
- Scores were close in the MJT Boys 9-10 division, where Hudson Lien, 10, of Calgary, ended up as the winner by two stokes after shooting 66.
- Sedona Weitz, 9, of Calgary, continued her strong tournament performance in her first MJT tournament back on home soil since representing the MJT and Canada at the IMG Academy Junior Worlds in San Diego, California, last month. She won the MJT Girls 9-10 division title after firing 63 for a nine-stroke winning margin.
- Blake McIntosh, 8, of Lethbridge, AB, played a solid round (74) to claim the MJT Boys 8U division after a strong back nine performance.
- Lila Skeates, 8, of Calgary, AB, came out as the winner by five strokes in the MJT Girls 8U division, after finishing with a score of 84.

Each division winner who was not already exempt received an invitation to MJT Mini Tour National Championship at Tsawwassen Springs, Tsawwassen, British Columbia, on August 24-25.
