Packed field on MJT Mini Tour battle for IMG Junior World spots at Newlands

Tournament Highlights:

• The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) hosted a packed field of young golfers aged seven to 12 in the MJT Mini Tour at Newlands Golf Club, April 24, in Langley, BC.
• The sun shone, creating a beautiful day for playing conditions.
• First and second place in each age division qualified for the 2022 Quilchena Order of Merit Mid-Season Invitational , May 29,  at the private Quilchena Golf and Country Club in Richmond, BC.
• Five golfers were shortlisted for IMG Junior World spots, with final players been selected once qualifying has completed across the country.
• The MJT Boys 9-10 division had a three-way tie for second place.
• The MJT Girls 11-12 division had their round shortened to 16 holes due to darkening playing conditions late Sunday evening.
