Lee and Alexander-Carew qualify for National Team Challenge at MJT Humber College PGM Classic at Rebel Creek

- Tournament Highlights:
- Over 90 players took part in the MJT Humber College PGM Classic at Rebel Creek Golf Course in Petersburg, Ontario, June 11-12, 2022, hosted by Canada’s number-one played Junior Tour.
- Two players earned exemptions into the National Team Challenge presented by Freedom 55 Financial and the province of Ontario at Royal Niagara Golf Club in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, this September - Julia Alexander-Carew and Andrew Lee.
- Julia Alexander-Carew, 16, of Oakville, ON, won the MJT 15-19 Girls division after finishing with a solid two day total of 72,77 (149).
- Andrew Lee, 15, of Mississauga, ON, won the MJT Juvenile Boys division with a great score of 69-75 (144) for the low overall boys title.
- Dylan Weber, 17, of Guelph, ON, took on the MJT Junior Boys title with consistent rounds of 74,73 (147).
- Marcus D’Aguilar, 13, of Kitchener, ON, took on a stacked Bantam Boys division and won in a playoff against Michael Ewart, 14, of Waterloo, after both tied for the lead with a score of 152.
- Nobelle Park, 12, of Oakville, ON, won her second MJT U15 Girls title this season with fine scores of 74-75 (149), holding off her twin sister, Kaprice Park who came in just behind in second place (78-73=151).
- Scores of 84-83 secured a two-stroke victory for Dustin Zhao, 10, of Maple, ON, in the MJT Peewee Boys division.
- Names of the TaylorMade Long Drive and MJT Closest-to-the-Pin winners as well as the Booster Juice BounceBack Award recipients are posted on the website.

About the MJT: The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour is Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour as well as the only national junior tour run exclusively by PGA of Canada Professionals and the ‘Road to College Golf’ in Canada.
