Winner’s Quote: Abby Chow, 18, of Coquitlam, BC: “I feel great as it was a close race. After two rounds in tough conditions, I tied for first with Jess. This means I had to go into a playoff with my best friend and future teammates at UBC. A highlight was my chipping as it helped me get up and down for par on tough holes. I try to stay in the present moment and not get too ahead of myself. I just want to make the best of every situation.”

Winner’s Quote: Jeevyn Lotay, 12, of Burnaby, BC: “I feel good and proud of myself because on the last day it was really windy, and I managed to play well still. One of my favorite shots was the pitch on hole 12, I pitched short sided and over a bunker and I hit it to two feet. I kept calm by sticking to my game plan which help me on the back nine with the wind.”

Finley Dober Enderby, BC M 14 79, 79 158

Winner’s Quote: Finley Dober, 14, of Enderby, BC: “I feel great about winning, it was close between me and my friend and I pulled out ahead so that was fun. A highlight was winning against my friend because he was five up on me going into today. I just kept remembering you can't do anything about the past and must just go for it and pay attention to the next shot.”

Emerson Bronsema Abbotsford, BC M 16 76, 81 157
Winner’s Quote: Austin Krahn, 14, of Coquitlam, BC: “I have had two second places this year, so to come out with the win feels amazing. I had a three-way tie for first after day one so when I started day two with a birdie that was pretty cool. I just focused on one shot at a time, and here we are.”
MJT Junior Boys: Rivershore GL: Par 72, Ydg 6708, Slope/Rating 128/72.1
Denby Carswell Burnaby, BC M 18 74, 68 142
Luke Spencer Vancouver, BC M 18 76, 75 151
Xander Bankes Rossland, BC M 17 77, 76 153
Winner’s Quote: Denby Carswell, 18, of Burnaby, BC: “It feels really great, I played bad at the BC junior last week, so bouncing back with the win feels good. The highlight was dropping four birdies in a row, and five out of six of my total birdies were on the back nine on day two. With the wind on the second day, I found it key to just commit to your shot with confidence.”
