BROTHER-SISTER DUO DOMINATE MAPLE LEAF JUNIOR TOUR STOP IN STONY PLAIN

STONY PLAIN, AB ? The Boston Pizza-sponsored Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour event at Stony Plain Golf Club this past week was dominated by the brother and sister duo from Edmonton, Steven Her and Susan Nam.

Her and Nam, both of whom have played on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) for a few years now, won their respective divisions of Boys 14-16 and Girls, and shot the low overall tournament scores.

Nam opened with a three-under-par 69 to blow away the rest of the girls field on the well conditioned Stony Plain golf course. ?On a golf course like that she destroyed everybody,? said CPGA Professional Trent Matson, MJT Tournament Director.
