Vancouver, BC – The third and final stop on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s (MJT) One Day Fall Series concluded Saturday at Fraserview Golf Club in Vancouver, ending another successful season for the program.
Ahnna Kim, 14, of South Surrey and Eugene Wong, 15, of North Vancouver were crowned series champions after winning their respective divisions in all three events.
“The highlight for me in the last tournament was my chip in for birdie on a par three,” said Kim. “I feel happy about the win and it feels great to win three in a row.”
“It feels great to win all the One Day tournaments,” echoed Wong, current BC Junior Boys Champion. “The main benefit of playing the MJT Fall tournaments is keeping up the tournament spirit!”
