Gligic Crowned MJT-Ontario PGA Junior Champion at Angus Glen

Markham, ON ? The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) held the third annual Ontario PGA Junior Championship at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham this past weekend, where the weather conditions for the junior golfers were generally hot and humid.

The low score in the two day event was in the Boys 14-16 division, where Michael Gligic, 15, of Burlington, posted a 69 in his opening round to have a second day lead which could not be usurped. Braeden Cryderman, 15, of Huntsville, made a hard charge to close with a 73 on day two, but could not catch Gligic, who shot 148 total for the low overall score and division champion?s trophy.
