Future Links Champion Posts Low Overall Score as the MJT Stops in Point Roberts

Point Roberts, WA ? The superbly conditioned Point Roberts Golf and Country Club in Point Roberts, WA, proved a stern test for juniors on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) this past Father?s Day weekend.

Current Future Links Pacific Champion Nick Taylor, 17, of Abbotsford, BC, was not to be outdone by the slick greens and tight fairways, however, and posted solid rounds of 72-73 (145) to win the Boys 17 and up division title in the MJT Border Championship event.

Taylor credited his success and third win on the MJT this season to the good coaching from his coach, Sean Richardson. ?It feels great that I pulled it off,? he said. ?Brendan Peters played very well and I had to make some putts in the end.?
